Bones, titled after the Femur-esque curves of the bed base, is Kelly Thompson’s first foray into furniture design in collaboration with Alta Interiors.
Inspired by sleek 1950s spaces, vintage cinema, and the desire to create something uniquely feminine, Bones is a confident bed for those with refined tastes who seek something a little different.
Bones is available in four colourways with matching fringing and includes a matching luxurious bolster, the perfect decorative finisher. Custom fabrics are available on request.
The Bones Bed is manufactured entirely in Melbourne with the talented hands of independent makers at Alta Interiors.

Born during the pandemic, Alta came from a shared frustration: long lead times, high mark-ups, and a lack of local options. So founders Alistair Tait and Steve Andreae rallied a crew of designers, makers, and friends to do things differently.
