Melbourne-based designer and artist Jordan Fleming creates playful sculptural lamps and experimental small furnishings using a mix of metal, pigment, timber and plaster. Her pieces are imperfect, a little wonky, yet expressive, almost animalistic as if they are living in your space. Fleming is currently working as an interior designer. She has a cabinet-making background and focuses on her practice in her spare time. She established her personal design practice in 2018 and has since had works exhibited in Melbourne Design Week (2020, 2021, 2022), At The Above Gallery (2021) and Australian Design Centre Workshopped (2018). Additionally, her work has been profiled in design magazine Artichoke, architecture and design blog Yellowtrace, and Frankie magazine as the winner of their 2018 Good Stuff design awards.
