About the Maker
Asobimasu Clay is the creative child of Kate Brouwer a Melbourne based ceramicist and founder of Feast & Flower Co. Asobimasu means "to play" or "create without boundaries" in Japanese which resonates with Brouwer as she prefers to start by playing without an outcome in mind. A visit to Brouwer's backyard studio is a visual pleasure, with work in progress sitting alongside final pieces and her beautiful floral still-life displays. We are thrilled to have such a multidimensional talent as part of the Maker's Mrkt family.
