Socks and slides have been informing our after-hours cosyville looks since we could walk, and now we’re ready to make the relationship official. Read on to explore a series of sock and sandal pairings including our new MM styles that will ensure you’re feeling cute and cottagecore all season long.
Designed in Melbourne, ethically made in Indonesia, KIYO is a label that focuses on sustainably and ethically made socks. Created by Sharin & Thanh, it was born from the love for design, minimalism, and for our planet along with the people that live in it.
In collaboration with Tailored Union, Slowdown Studio has created a collection of one size fits all women's socks. These extra Banana Socks were designed by Sydney-based artist Liv Lee, whose signature style features wonky interpretations of plants, fruit and animals.
Another gem by our friends at Slowdown Studio, these dreamy Snake Eyes Socks were designed by Australian multi-disciplinary visual artist and illustrator Luke John Matthew Arnold. ICYMI, Slowdown Studio is the creative project of Australian-born, Los Angeles-based designer Marc Hendrick.
Would this list of springtime sartorial cues be complete without a homage to our favourite blushing hue? Of course not. To finish, we recommend pairing the plush comfort of KIYO’s OCS-certified Organic Cotton Faces Socks with these incredibly dashing Maryam Nassir Zadeh Palma Low Sandal in Bonnet. The perfect look for a day of lunching with friends or strolling around the gallery. Or, preferably — both.
